Worthy Women Thrive: Dating in 2019

Partnering with fashion brand MM. LaFleur, Worthy invites you to join us for our event Worthy Women Thrive: Dating in 2019, on Thursday, April 25th in at MM. LaFleur’s showroom in Bryant Park, NYC, from 6 to 8 pm.

Our Event

Earlier this year, we conducted our survey “Jumping In: Dating After Divorce in 2019” to learn what the dating landscape looks for the modern woman after divorce. Not only did we want to learn about the emotional side of things (“When did you feel ready to date?”, “Were you scared to date?”) but also the practical side of things, such as online dating and when to introduce your new partner to your children.

Our Worthy Women Thrive event will feature a panel discussion with a group of experts to review what we’ve learned from the survey as well as real-life stories, insights, and expert advice.

Our Panel

The panel discussion will be led by Judy Herbst, director of PR for Worthy. Our panelists include:

• Dr. Kristin Davin – psychologist, relationship coach, and expert contributor to the Worthy blog.
  
• Carolyn Fox – Real Estate agent specializing in divorce real estate transactions.
  
• Tamsen Fadal – Emmy award-winning journalist and anchor of PIX1 and now the author of a new book The New Single.

5:45 pm – Doors open for refreshments and networking.

6:15 – Panel discussion begins.

Post-Panel – Complimentary style with MM LaFleur and jewelry evaluations with Yinjia Puk, Worthy GIA gemologist, AJP.

100% of the fees from ticket sales will be donated to Reveal Beauty.

Reveal Beauty’s mission is to “empower women to own their worth and reset future generations with a new narrative of beauty, dignity, and celebration.” Helping women who are survivors of domestics violence and sex trafficking, Reveal hosts workshops to give these women tools in professional development and self-care as well as coaching to identify what love should and should not look like. Reveal is working to break the cycle of violence by empowering women and helping them make the right choices.
