Many people end up transforming old jewelry into new pieces and can get pretty creative with what they do. In this case a beautiful 3-stone diamond ring was made into pendant. The center stone of this ring-turned-pendant is a round diamond weighing .66 carats. The color was deemed to be “yellowish” giving it a ‘K’ color grade. With some small inclusions visible under closer inspection, this diamond was assigned an ‘SI1’ clarity grading. The gemologist also indicated that it had a white, faint fluorescence and a small chip. The matching round cut side stones weighed in at .25 carats each, with a ‘G-H’ color grade, and an ‘SI2’ clarity grading.
This pendant ended up selling for $1,250 after a very active 24-hour auction.
