Getting the Highest Market Value

The auction platform at Worthy is the most reliable and accurate way of determining the value your Blancpain watch. The process at Worthy goes beyond the standard evaulations. Instead of assigning value to your Blancpain, your watch is evaluated and prepared for auction complete with photographs and a description. Once this is complete, your watch photos and description will be put onto our auction platform where real buyers will bid on it. At the end of the auction, the highest bid will be the price we offer you to sell your watch. Through this unique system, you will get the most accurate market price for your watch based on real market conditions and buyers.

Trustworthy Evaluations

Worthy is fully accredited by the BBB and licensed and certified by the NYC Department of Consumer Affairs. Our certified, professional evaluators have extensive experience with luxury watches. Our process is 100% transparent and you can always obtain information on the status of your watch.  We also provide you access to the auction platform so you can see the bids that are placed on your Blancpain watch.

About Blancpain Watches

Blancpain was founded in 1735 and is headquartered in Biel Switzerland. Blancpain is now an owned subsidiary of the Swatch Group. The chairman and founder of Swatch Group, Nicholas Hayek is the leader of Blancpain and has run the company since 2002.

Blancpain began producing watches in Villeret, Switzerland in 1735. According to the company’s slogans, they have never created quartz watches before and they claim they never will. In addition, they have never created watches that feature digital displays. Compared to large watch manufacturers like Rolex who make 2,000 per day, Blancpain only makes about 30 watches in a day. The watches are made by a single watchmaker.

Blancpain is also known for creating one of the most complex mechanical watches that was ever made. This watch is called the Blancpain 1735 and it features a minute repeater, perpetual calendar Tourbillon and split chrono. Only 30 of these limited edition watches have been created and usually one 1 is produced each year.

Blancpain is also famous for its Fifty-Fathom watches which were used by the United States Navy.  This watch was also worn by Jacques-Yves in his award-winning movie. Blancpain created the world’s smallest movement in 1984 and it also created the world’s thinnest movement in 1989.

Blancpain is known for sponsoring a variety of Motorsport programs including the Blancpain Spring Series, the Blancpain Endurance Series, GT1 and GT3 cars by Reiter Engineering, Lamborghini Blancpain Super, ADAC GT Masters, Blancpain GT Series and Trofeo series.

Blancpain Watch Collections

Blancpain is committed to creating classic watch designs that feature superior functionality and technology. These beautifully designed watches are created to exhibit the craftsmanship of professional watch-making. Blancpain watches are extremely popular in the watch collecting arena because of their amazing design and incredible practicality. Some of the most popular watch collections at Blancpain are Fifty Fathoms, Le Brassus and Villeret.

The Fifty Fathoms: This collection embodiment of this watch-maker’s passion for the underwater environment and it has taken inspiration from the 1953 diver’s watch model – the first of its kind to ever be created. Since then, Blancpain has been used by underwater photographers and divers to explore the underwater landscape which helps bring light to this incredible ecosystem. These watches are not only designed to be aesthetically pleasing but they also include all necessary instruments divers will need.

The Le Brassus: The magnificence of Blancpain’s watch designs first came to timepieces in this collection. These complicated, yet stunning, watch models feature the highest level of precision mechanics and this collection is what gave Blancpain its reputation of excellence. All of these watches feature traditional watch-making expertise and showcase Blancpain’s commitment to traditional watches.

The Villeret: Inspired by the very first classic collection of Blancpain watches, it personifies the origins and aesthetic preferences of this watch-maker. The Roman numerals and double-stepped cash are some of the most stunning characteristics of these models. The clear lines, fine cases and pure lines are timeless and elegant designs. Throughout 2010 and 2011, Blancpain decided to create a reinterpretation of this collection which features a contemporary look while still staying true to its iconic design. The new collection is the result of extensive research in regards to creating movements. These watches are quite popular among collectors and their rarity only increases their value. Blancpain watches are truly one-of-a-kind timepieces.
