Summer is in full swing and our June auctions celebrated with lots of color! From gemstones to shades of gold, some of our favorite pieces sold in June really stood out from the monochromatic mix. Let’s have a look.
Fingers Full of Florals
One of our favorite items from June’s auctions was the round cut bridal set with aquamarine side stones in a floral motif (#4 below). Bridal sets, while popular, can often be plain and simple but this set really stands out, both with its color and design. Floral motifs are popular in all types of jewelry, and if it’s something you love but don’t have, consider selling an older piece of jewelry that no longer suits your style and upgrading to something that’s more Y-O-U.
Earrings for Events
Another item we couldn’t stop looking at is the pair of pear-cut diamond chandelier earrings (#9 below). These custom made danglers are elegant and glamorous and perfect for a fancy night out. But if dinner parties and galas aren’t on your schedule in the foreseeable future, you may want to think about selling and buying something more practical, like a pair of gorgeous studs which go with any outfit, day or night.
