Product Designer

Worthy is looking for an awesome Prodcut Designer (UX/UI) to join our growing UX Design team, and work on our consumer-grade product across multiple platforms. If you are fluent in both wireframing design and pixel-perfect design, we want to meet you! You will design world class experiences and visual design concepts for web and mobile.

Responsibilities:

  • Design innovative user experience for our products (Wire-frames) and complement it with intuitive cohesive look & feel (UI)
  • Guide the development team to pixel-perfect execute your designs
  • Stay updated on the latest developments, trends and thinking within Digital Design
  • Continuously validate and improve your design against actual usage data

Requirements:

Staff Gemologist

Lab Team New York, New York, United States
The Gemologist is responsible for evaluation of jewelry and diamonds for our daily online auctions. S/he is responsible for the gemological information for each auction listing, and auction resale pricing for each item. The ideal candidate will be able to grade, evaluate and price diamonds, jewelry and gemstones. S/He will be able to balance multiple tasks simultaneously while providing a high level of service to our seller community.

This includes:

  • Work with the receiving and photography teams to ensure fast and steady product flow.
  • Review products for auction, inspect and reject synthetics, imitations, and items which will fall below our minimum requirements.
  • Note damaged items for escalation to sales team, provide documentation and imaging.
  • Act as an escalation point for incoming items route them to the appropriate 3-party grading Labs.
  • Work with Vice President to establish monthly goals. Monitor auction progress regularly throughout the day

FP & A Manager

The FP&A manager has a key role in Worthy’s Finance department, being responsible for high quality, accurate, on time, insight-driven analysis and reporting - translate insights into recommendations and actions.
The FP&A manager will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, long term financial planning, business scenarios modeling and benchmarking, analyzing unit economics, create and manage transactions profitability analysis and more. The FP&A manager will report to the Company’s CFO.
The FP&A manager should have strong analytical skills, exceptional financial competence, superb business understanding, a deep knowledge of financial analytics tools and techniques, and critical-thinking proficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the budgeting process with the different team leaders and senior management
  • Produce and deliver budget vs actual reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, and analyze and explain the differences.
  • Manage the timely delivery of the required financial and key performance indicator reporting.
  • Lead the forecasting process on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Partner with other departments to prepare required reports

Controller

The Controller has a key role in Worthy’s Finance department, being responsible for the company’s accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, management reports, ongoing day-to-day financial business and financial operations, cash management, consolidation, tax structure, tax reporting, internal control policies and procedures, financial risk management and more.
The role requires deep business understanding and includes an ongoing connection with the different business department and business units.
The Controller will report to the Company’s CFO.
The Controller should have strong analytical skills, exceptional financial competence, superb business understanding, a deep knowledge of accounting principles and tax rules, and critical-thinking proficiency.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Manage day to day accounting operations, including A/R, A/P, billing, collection, accounting system management, revenue recognition and more.
  • Manage and review the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, consolidation, inter-company accounts, cost center allocations, and other balance sheet and P&L accounts.
  • Prepare financial statements in a timely manner and work closely with financial service providers and the accountants.
  • Create actual vs budget reports.
  • Manage the annual audit process and coordinate with auditors on entity level audit.
  • Transaction processing including receivables, payables & payroll.
  • Responsibility for all entities' compliance and filings, including tax filings, local filings for various states and all foreign entities' filings.
  • Responsible for the tax structure and connection with tax consultants.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Provide services and advice to employees (as pension, Tenbis etc).
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience as a financial controller in a start-up/medium size high tech company.
  • 5-7 years of experience as a CPA
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience with the preparation of financial statements
  • Ability to work under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines.
