Product Designer

Product Team Tel Aviv, Israel
Worthy is looking for an awesome Product Designer to work on our consumer-facing product across multiple platforms. Worthy’s product designer will define, design and deliver new features and products. Including initial research, wireframing, UI design, user-testing and a/b testing.

Responsibilities

  • Design innovative user experience for our products (Wireframes) and complement it with intuitive cohesive look & feel (UI)
  • Create feature write ups to guide the development team
  • Work closely with the development team
  • Stay updated on the latest developments, trends and thinking within digital design
  • Continuously validate and improve your design against actual usage data
  • Work effectively with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic environment

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer / Product Designer in a product company
  • Expertise in design tools such as Figma and Adobe XD
  • Experience designing consumer facing products
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a strong team environment
  • Resourceful with excellent follow-through skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Social, communicative and generally a nice person :)

Nice to Haves:

  • Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication or Interactive Design

Customer Support Coordinator

Operations Team NYC in-person & hybrid remote optional

As our Customer Support Coordinator, you will be working with our Buyer Account Managers and will be responsible for communicating with and supporting the buyers that purchase from our marketplace. You will answer questions related to their purchase such as item location, delivery timeline, and gem certifications. This role will require exemplary internal and external communication and you will be working closely with various stakeholders - Sales, Gemology, Finance, and Operations - to drive buyer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

  • Work cross-functionally between team members to support a seamless buyer experience from start to finish

  • Quickly, clearly, and professionally communicate with buyers on a regular basis to understand their questions, providing accurate and timely information and solutions in response to incoming telephone calls and email correspondences

  • Coordinate between our Buyer Account Managers and Operations Team on shipments and deliveries, ensuring purchases arrive timely and safely

  • Work in tandem with our Finance Manager to track the status of paid items to oversee the flow of the buyer’s purchase

Gemologist

The gemologist role focuses on the evaluation of the luxury goods we list in our online auctions. The gemologist will be responsible for providing the gemological information for each listing as well as auction resale price generation.

The Ideal Candidate Possesses

  • Ability to grade, evaluate and price a large volume of diamonds, jewelry and gemstones.

  • Keen eye to scrutinize auction items in order to detect and reject items that fall below our minimum requirements, such as imitations and synthetics, as well as damaged articles.

  • Sense of urgency to ensure timely and reliable product flow through collaboration with receiving and photography teams.

  • Organization skills required to route incoming items to appropriate third party grading labs as needed.

  • Diligence to regularly monitor daily auction activity.

  • Flexibility in regard to work schedule.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced startup environment.

Director of Data

We are looking for a Director of Data to lead our Data team.

What will you do?

Lead the team:

  • Data warehouse infrastructure as well as structure of the data warehouse.

  • * Data ingestion and data flow form several internal and external systems

And:

  • Define and execute our data strategy

  • Identify, evaluate and choose new data related technologies

  • Define, implement and monitor data flow

  • Manage production servers, backups, DR

  • Optimize performance of production DWH

  • Own the internal BI system (Looker) and all the data in it

Requirements

  • 2+ years of leading a team of Data engineers and analysts, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise data solutions (Enterprise Data Warehouses, Data Marts, ETL/ELT workloads, etc.)

  • 4+ years experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, etc. as well as developing data models

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying scalable data solutions using MPP databases (Redshift, Snowflake, or Azure Synapse Analytics), data storage and analytics platforms (i.e. Spark, Databricks, Elasticsearch, ...).

  • Experience with Looker or Tableau

  • Experience working with different types of data – structured, unstructured, and semi-structured in batch and real-time

  • Experience with Python

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Experience with Google Analytics - Advantage
